Our schools must prioritize their purpose: equipping all students with a foundational body of knowledge. By committing to a rigorous, knowledge-rich curriculum, we ensure every student gains the building blocks he or she needs to excel.
Free State.
Kansas was founded by pioneers who understood that liberty requires capable, self-governing citizens. To honor that heritage today, our schools must actively cultivate civic responsibility and uphold the high expectations that keep our state strong and free.
Free Minds.
True education is about developing critical reasoning and independent thought. We must arm Kansas students with the intellectual tools to evaluate information logically and form their own conclusions, preparing them to successfully navigate a rapidly changing world.

The hallmark of every great learning institution is a relentless commitment to its primary mission. This means returning our classroom focus to measurable, scholastic achievement in reading, mathematics, science, and history.

As a lifelong Johnson County resident and an active partner in several local businesses, I am running for the Kansas Board of Education because business and community leaders have an obligation to ensure that our schools are excellent in every way. All children in Kansas must receive a stellar education—one that expands their minds and challenges them to reach the stars.
